<p>I'm realllly nervous. Ever since I took calc my first instinct is to derive everything. I gotta review all my matrices and polar coordinates, too.</p>

<p>If you guys got any ideas on some obscure topics to review, post them please!</p>

<p>For those of you with a ti-89, hibview, and wordrider, here are the notes for tomorrow's exam I've been working on.</p>

<p>Determinants

<p>Finding Asymptotes
-vertical asymptotes- occur when the denominator is 0
-horizontal asymptotes-

approaches infinity</p>

<p>copy and paste this into wordrider, export to calculator and open w/ hibview. It's not done yet though. I still have to add trig identities, permutations/combinations, and the composition of trig functions (cycles, periods, etc). Got any other formulas I should include?</p>

<p>Also, I memorized most of this stuff today. TI 89 has permutations and combinations, just know how to use them ;).</p>

<p>I actually have these notes as a placebos. I did the same thing for my AP Calc exam, and ended up never using the notes. It’s just there for comfort I guess, lol. But I don’t think I’ll remember my matrices… I haven’t done them in so long.</p>

<p>The test was hard partly because the US approach to teaching math is very different from that of ours. I had taken trigonometry and algebra before taking the test with some previous knowledge of college-preparatory level math.</p>

<p>I’m probably going to skip any determinant questions (seriously though - at most there will be like 1 of them on the whole test?). It’s not worth the learning.</p>

<p>I am retaking it, there were was like 1 Matrix/Det question on the June test. Don’t worry too much about deep pre-cal stuff, most of it is trivial pre-cal math.</p>

<p>I’m just scared I won’t remember the specific Alg 2/precal stuff. I’m actually taking Calc III right now (Multivariable), and I I haven’t worked with matrices since.</p>

<p>Some of the questions towards the end were a bit tricky. And I really should have managed my time better…</p>

<p>just finished. it’s been about 3 years since I took any trig or precalc stuff. the fact that I 5’d the ab and bc tests, and am acing multivariate doesn’t do anything for me on the math 2 exam >.>
I forgot my trig laws…f***…
I answered 45 out of 50, but out of those 45 I’m pretty sure (95%) that I got them all right. Anyone know what’s a safe cutoff score? If I got one wrong, would I still be safe for an 800? The sparknotes book says a raw score of 43 (I think I have a 45) is an 800, and barron’s says 44, but I want to leave room for one or two questions wrong.</p>

<p>^ 44 to be on the safe side. And yeah, after being submerged in calculus for the last 2 months I probably didn’t do as well as I would have back in June…I left 4 blank myself.</p>

<p>If I get one wrong, that’s a 43.75, which means I will be slitting some throats. Sort of like getting a 2390 on the SATs.</p>

<p>43.75 is a 44 which should be an 800.</p>

Also, when they set the cutoff scores, do they usually set it as a whole number or are there decimals?</p>

<p>well I didn’t take the math but I kind of had a chance to look at them. I would say that it wasn’t hard since there wasn’t many unique questions. Any raw score of 44 or above, probably will hit an 800.</p>
