<p>I'm currently a sophomore taking PreCalculus and AP Physics B courses. I don't know when I should take Math IIC and Physics B SAT IIs. Quite frankly, I'm not that confident with the Physics one and I'm not sure about Math IIC. What prep books are the best for these two subjects? Does it matter if you take the SAT II tests a couple months after you finished the course (i.e. during the fall of this year instead of in June) Will colleges weigh your scores down if you studied over the summer because your class didn't finish all of the curriculum? Should I only take it in June if I'm sure that I will score over 700? Is it better to score higher and take it couple months after the school year has ended or take it with everyone else (simply because taking it later would mean that you weren't ready before the school year ended) before school ends this year? </p>

<p>Math IIC - Barron's book is good, especially if you're aiming for an 800.</p>
<p>Physics - Princeton and Sparknotes are good from what I know.</p>
<p>Since you're a sophomore, take one this June, whichever you're most comfortable with. Then study for the other during the summer and take it early in your Junior year.</p>
<p>What if I'm not comfortable with any of them? Will taking the SAT IIs later affect your standing? Would taking them in October be good? Do you think I'll have enough time to review during the first month of school? Score is the most important though right? I should take the test only if I think I'll get above 700-750?</p>
<p>Yes, only take it if you feel confident. No point in taking one and getting a 650 or below if you're perfectly capable of breaking 700. I don't think when you take it really matters, its just the score that does.</p>
