<p>I don't know about a 680-800 scale, but yes, the Barron's book goes over a ton of stuff that I didn't actually see on my test. It's good, solid preparation. I did a lot of tests in rapid succession in the two weeks before the test from the Barron's book and improved with each one, but was out of time before I could reach #44 every time. The first time I took it I ran out of time at #30 or something. When I took the real SAT IIs this past december I flew through it although I did stumble on one or two problems, which left me with a little over two minutes for the last one. I'm sure I could've done it in two minutes but I got all panicky, freaked out, and decided to use this time to check my other work and fix the ovals.</p>
<p>The actual test wasn't that bad, especially the first half.</p>
