I'm currently in AP Calc and really don't think I can handle it! I'm more of a humanities person...not really a math person. Would it look bad to colleges if I dropped the class for another AP class or French 4 and didn't take any math junior year (I would take AP stats senior year)?

are you in AB or BC? if you're in BC is there anyway you could instead take AB?

Yeah, success in high level math during high school is a great indicator of your skills to handle college material. You also have the advantage of getting over a difficult course early so you won't have to take math again, depending on your major.

If you're taking BC, try to drop to AB. If you're already in AB, try to get some help with the work from someone.

If you're early enough in the year where it won't show up on your record that you dropped it, I'd say change to either normal calculus or AP stats. I don't think many colleges would like only 3 years of math.
