Math Level 1 vs Math Level 1C- What's the difference

<p>In the Tests section on the CommonApp, where you have to choose the subject of the SAT subject test you took.</p>

<p>There's the option Math Level 1 and Math Level 1C and there's Math Level 2 and Math Level 2C; what's the "C"?</p>

<p>I took Math Level 1; I'm not sure whether is 1 or 1C though as I don't know what the difference is.</p>

<p>There’s really no difference. The Math subject tests names now end with “C”, which stands for “Calculator”, implying that a calculator can be used in the test.</p>
