For those of you who sat for the Math Level 2 test today -- how did you find it?

it’s tomorrow

yea it’s tomorrow. anyone else taking it? really nervous…not very good at math

I just took it a couple of hours ago, in my time zone. It wasn’t very good for me – didn’t pace myself properly, and there were a few questions that were a bit strange to me. :/

Is there anyone else that took the test already?

@audrey2412 Do you know if it was a repeated exam?

What do you mean, a repeated exam? @bartholomew503

@audrey2412 Apparently collegeboard sometimes reuses past exams so I was wondering if that was the case. I guess it’d be hard to know anyway though, considering that they don’t release all of the past ones.

Oh well. I’m sure you did fine, though I’m worried about the aforementioned strange questions.

the questions were actually pretty good but they were kinda long…
I didn’t take a lot of practice test so I didn’t get my timing ryt…but ya…otherwise it was fine

It was alright I guess. Some weird questions, so guessed like 4.

Omitted 4 or 5 :’(

It was ok . A few tough questions , but hoping for a 750.

What did you guys put for the balls in the hat and the probability of pulling a red ball then a green ball then a blue ball? i put 1/6

Also, for the matrices question where it was like ax + by = 4 or something and had infinite solutions? i forgot the answer but I just put B

Also, number 50 for the cosine of the angle, I got B as well, which i hope was 1/8 but didn’t have time to check what the answer choice was so i just put B. Can anyone confirm that number 50 B was 1/8?

I got 1/6 for the ball question and 1/8 for 50. Don’t remember what it was . The matrices one was hard so I left it. And there was a question in which f(x) = If(x)I . The answer choices were x , x^2 , x+1 and a few similar ones. I chose x. Anyone knows the answer?

@SameerHussain That was x. The function was actually f(x) = - | f(x) |, and x < 0.

What was #50 asking for again?

okay i have some questions which i don’t remember too well but i remember the basics:

plane has a line going through it i got the answer as an infinite number of lines idk the whole question

for the balls in the hat i got 1/6

for the symmetrical line x=3 what’d you guys get? i think the was late 30s early 40s

And the one that said if X is an integer squared and n is an integer what is Y if it’s an integer
some of the choices were like x+y/2=n^2 x+y=n^2 etc etc

how about the rectangular prism one? it was like the 9th question or so.
it either asked about surface area or volume, i’m hoping volume and it was like W=3m and h=4w or something.
i got 36x^3 (i think?)

@philips For the symmetrical line I think it was -1? Because it said one of the points was (-2, -1) or something, and since the function was symmetrical about x = 3, the y would still be -1.

@MyRealName the question was asking for the cosine of θ when you had all four sides it was 4,5,6 (i think so)
i just did law of cosines c^2=a^2+b^2+2ABcosθ and got 36=25+16-(2)(4)(5)cosθ
36=41-40cosθ
-5=-40cosθ
divide both sides by -40
0.125=cosθ

@MyRealName great i think i might got that one even though i was unsure of “symmetrical about ****” (yes, i know what symmetrical means i just was unsure in this context). but i do not know. do you remember the actual question? all i remember is something involving 7 when i got my answer

The questions were not bad but I had to rush through because I was running out of time. Ugh I didn’t get to solve a question I knew :(( okay the one about nornal distribution was uncalled for

what was the one about normal distribution?

also for the one about standard deviation of a line going to the mean (which i think was 0) what’d you get?
