I've been prepping on and off with the Barron's book for the math 2 test this saturday. I want to do well but I feel like a big problem I have is with managing my time and doing all of the questions in an hour, especially for the barron's practice tests. I know the time efficiency comes with practice but does anyone have any advice to how I should approach testing and is doing the Barrons just a lot more time consuming than the real test? Thanks!

Also, I was wondering if the McGraw-Hills tests are similar to the real collegeboard test.

the barron's tests are terrible indicators of the real thing in pretty much every way possible. you really should pay no attention to time limits when taking those; the real problems definitely don't take as long.

as for advice on the actual test day:

do the easier problems (ie the first 20 or so -- and believe me, they are way easier than the barron's questions) quickly to give you more time on the tougher ones

don't hesitate to skip some of the q's that have you hung up a little bit; coming back to them later definitely helps!

if you still can't get an answer to a few, don't worry... i left 2 or 3 blank (and probably got 1 or 2 wrong) and still got an 800

hope that helps...

yup thanks!! that helped
