<p>The biggest difference between the two is really the curve.</p>
<p>Both math tests cover the same areas, but the math level 2 asks more complicated questions; plus, trig covers about 20% of math level 2, where it only covers 8% in math level 1.</p>

<p>Okay I'm confused, because I just read on collegeboard that the Math II was "formely Math IIC." I'm doing my USC application, and it says if I've taken Math II or Math IIC. Yeah this is a bit confusing</p>

<p>yes it is the same thing. the c is included to indicate that these are the only tests where the use of a calculator is allowed.</p>
