Math level one or two

What looks better for colleges math level one or two or both?

There are several threads on this subject. In general - the thoughts have been:

Math Level II is often asked for if math is needed. Not math I.

You need some kind of calculus before you take Math II.

Math I curve is very difficult.

You do not need two subject tests in math.

In general - take Math II after taking at least Pre - calc.

I have taken precalc but i want to know what looks better in general

Math II looks better in general (assuming you can get the same score on either). Math I tests elementary algebra and geometry, whereas Math II focuses on much more advanced topics.

Thank you very much

You don’t need calculus for Math II. Math II does look better on just about any college application. Since you have taken pre-calc, you should be ready.

One caution: Math II occasionally throws a question or two regarding limits, which is usually taught first thing in calculus. However SAT questions regarding limits are extremely basic, e.g.

lim (x^3 + 1)
x->2

is just 2^3 + 1, or 9.
