To those who have already taken the Math Placement exam, what does the exam cover?

I know it covers Precalculus, so it should cover at least Functions and Trigonometry. But some precalc programs also cover sequences, analytic geometry, Polar Coordinates, etc. Does the exam cover this too?

Hint: If you need to study for anything, you are already boned. Just take the exam and you’ll be fine

I don’t need to study. I’m just curious.

Yeah, the point of the placement exam is to determine your proficiency. If you cram for it and do better than you normally would, you might get placed into a class that you could struggle in. Skipping a class or two isn’t worth getting a poor grade.

I don’t remember anything on the exam that I haven’t seen in my studies before, and I only took half a semester of calculus in HS. That being said, I forgot about the exam’s contents about two days after I took it, so maybe you should take my account with a grain (or two) of salt, haha.

Yeah, it was basically just advanced algebra, Functions, and a bit of trigonometry. Pretty easy.
