Math Placement Exam

I have a question,
if u took the calc bc exam this year as a senior, does it qualify me for the math placement exam

Everyone takes the math placement exam no matter what; placement is mostly based on it, not AP or SAT/SAT II scores.

And if I take the calc bc exam, it does nothing for you. ;)

what does the test cover? we don't typically learn calculus here in China, so I am a little bit worried.

Some of it is precalc, trig, and algebra, and the rest is calculus, so everyone does need to take it if they get a letter saying they do. If you don't know calculus, then you won't do well on that part of the exam, but that's not a problem- it's just a placement test. You'll just end up taking calculus, which is what should happen if you've not taken it before. :) I wouldn't recommend studying/cramming a whole bunch, because then you might end up placed higher than you should be and not really having a strong enough background to be there.
