Math Placement Test

<p>So I read somewhere that OSU asks for all your grades for all math courses taken before you start the online math placement test. I don’t remember what grades I received in my math courses and I don’t have my high school transcript to refer back to, but obviously OSU has a copy. </p>

<p>Do I absolutely need my grades before starting the test, or is there an “I don’t know” option? Why do they ask for this anyway? :/</p>

<p>Eh, I can’t remember whether or not there’s an “I don’t know” option, but I do remember the test saying something like it uses the placement tests, past math classes taken, and I think ACT or SAT scores to decide what course to place you in.</p>
