did anyone have a problem that said something about twice a number is midway between -2 and 8, what is that number? Did anyone get 3/2?

yeah i got 3/2 for that one.

Lol, "You guys need a lesson on inequalities" excuse me but the last time I checked the books 0 was not greater than 0. XiΞiX, don't be so arrogant...

I'm gonna agree with quickandslowly on this one, if only because I put "none" also :)

Last time I checked, 2 > 0^2

For the difficult fraction problem (5/44 or something), does anyone remember the LETTER of the correct answer?? Was it B perhaps??

What was the answer to

like i forget what the thing was. but it was like x^2 plus something something with x and b in it = x^2 + bc + 4c

The overlapping squares: You had to rotate the larger square since it was connected to the center of the smaller square. Then, the side of the smaller one was 8 because the area was 64. Now that you have the side, and half the side (center to the side, making a smaller, square inbetween the two larger ones) is 4, and then length times width, 4 x 4 = 16.

ugh, what were the other options besides xy>0?

One with the 6 boxes and the 7 in the 4th box: 7
One with 56th step in the pattern: you make a graph of like 5x+8 on ur calc and go to 2nd > table, and go down to 56..

Anytime you have a 90 degree angle from the center of a square, the area covered will be 1/4 the total area. Store that away somewhere. :)

They said the first term was 8. If you plug in 1 for X in 5x+8, you get 13.

For the difficult fraction problem (5/44 or something), does anyone remember the LETTER of the correct answer?? Was it B perhaps??

Anyone know???

(a/b) - 1 = y

that answer turned out B/A + A/B = ? It was 2, right?

And the one with the bounded parabola:
II was F(X) < Y, when the graph is initially: F(X) = Y, and every answer but "None" had II in it. So it was None

xy>0 isn't being debated.....it's

y>x^2 and |x|<2

and did anyone get two 48s for the grid ins
yeah, i got two 48s

excuse this message wrong post

I got 3x=2y but I don't remember the question. Anyone else remember what they put?
This is correct.

quote(8^y) answre was 0 right?

one of the questions had two answers and I couldnt decide. The answers were x^2+x>y or 1/x+1/y>(i can't remeber)

I got 2.666666 for the mx+b one (sorry)

I didnt even try the ballon one

I will rack my brain for more.
1) yeah

2) don't know

3) yeah

4) The Balloon one was 4
Does anyone remember the add "t" to the collection thing? What'd you put?***
