Math Question Compilation for June 2008 SAT

@ berkshire: it was -2/3. 100% sure
^ was that experimental? I don't remember that one.

and for number 15 on the last math section it was y=2x
^ I got 3x=2y but I don't remember the question. Anyone else remember what they put?

(8^x)(8^y) answre was 0 right?

one of the questions had two answers and I couldnt decide. The answers were x^2+x>y or 1/x+1/y>(i can't remeber)

I got 2.666666 for the mx+b one (sorry)

I didnt even try the ballon one

I will rack my brain for more.

yeah. i got 3x=2y. i'm pretty positive that's right.

i got 8/7 for the y=mx+b 1

I had something like 3x=2y as well (well three of one equaled two of another not sure which is which), and I checked it over several times.

8/7 for y = mx + b

No, I don't think so. I had it to.

I had a brain fart right at the beginning of a math section. It was question 1, ( the xxyyyxxxyy one) and I just stared at it for a minute. And then I'm "Come on, butternut, its an easy one gosh darnit!

@elanorci

dont worry i didnt have the 2/3 one as well

@GreatSuccess

i think ur wrong

i got 8/3 for the y=mx+b so yea....2.6666666 is right =D

(8^x)(8^y) answre was 0 right?
^ Yep
one of the questions had two answers and I couldnt decide. The answers were x^2+x>y or 1/x+1/y>(i can't remeber)
^ I thought that one was hard too... I put the 1/x + 1/y one

The balloon one was the only one I omitted. I didn't want to waste time counting. I know there must be a faster way to do it; anyone know what it is?

I got 8/3 as well. I am pretty sure that's right.

was the answer to y = x^2 bound by y = 4, none?

Taz:
(8^x)(8^y) answre was 0 right?

Ya, I had 0 for it.

I got 4 different combinations of balloons.

the balloon was 4

it was

2332
3331
3232
3322

we arent sure for that "none" one yet, some ppl think its II & III others think its none

8/3 for mx+b

3x=2y

balloon one was 4

heres how i did it:
assuming you get a minimum of 2 red, blue, yellow and 1 green it'd be this:
RR BB YY G

then you'd need 3 more balloons and u can only have 3 of each max (except green, which is 2 max) so i went like:

1) R B Y
2) B Y G
3) R Y G
4) R B G

4 different setups in addition to the minimum of RR BB YY G that you had to use. does that make sense?

the none and II & III are two different questions. Atleast they are for me. I also had 4 for the ballons Q

@GPAx213

i also got 8/3=2.666!!!!!!!!!!!yeay!!!

agree with answer being 4 for the balloons.

for the box sequence question, was the answer 7?
