math score question

hi, i just finished my junior year of high school and i took the SAT once and got a 2170 and the ACT and got a 32. the only problem is i got a 660 on the math (770 on critical reading) part of the SAT. is this way too low for business schools like wharton/mit? or will they consider the score wholistically? would it be better to just send only my ACT score to penn or mit, or just suck it up and try to take the SAT again? i know that colleges look at more than just these scores, but im wondering if this might hurt me considerably.
would it hurt in any way to just send the ACT?
that was a lot of questions.
i hope this is the right place to post this.

thanks.

It will hurt for MIT and Wharton, but not for many other schools.

Haha my math and reading scores are almost exactly opposite of yours. Like rgs321 said for Penn and MIT you need to get it a bit higher but regardless it is still a great score and assuming you have good stats in other areas you should be able to get into a good university to study business.

yeah you'll be fine... id retake the SAT and ACT again...b/c to be honest , next year is going to be rediculously competitive .... you're going to have to really shine...so a 33 instead of a 32 might look better and get ya in...anyhow MIT is very big on math...its very hard to get in without at least a 700...but good luck anyway

Even if you don't get scores that are higher, i would still recommend applying to the wharton. I had a 2320 sat and was valedictorian and my friend was valedictorian and had 2370 sat. I was deferred then rejected and he was rejected rd. Other kids, however, got in w/ sats under 2200 even though their math is usually the higher one. Wharton looks at so many things when you apply, so any things that you do outside of your school work may really help and get you in i fyou are active.
