So I took the september ACT and got a 29 which is probably because of my 25 in math, and i'm a senior so the october ACT is pretty much my last chance, any tips on how i can drastically get my math up in a month?

read the princeton review math strat guide since it basically covers everything... the best way of going about doing it is just to review all of the math stuff on the ACT.

Was timing an issue for you in Sept? Had you prepared for the test? Is a 29 competitive for where you are applying?

yes, i definately ran out of time on the math part. and im applying GPPA UIC for dentistry, where 28 is the minimum, so I kind of just want a 30 so i can be more secure about getting in.

Timing is definitely a huge issue in conquering the ACTs. Do as many practice tests as possible. Make sure you use a book which explains BOTH the right answer and wrong answers. See if there's a pattern on the kind of problems you are missing, or if it is simply a matter of completing the test. Make sure to time yourself firmly! Plan your schedule for prepping carefully in the next 2-1/2 weeks; don't save it all for cramming the last couple of days.
What were your scores section by section? What other schools are you applying to?
