<p>When you miss a question, there is also the opportunity cost of getting one extra point right. This means the difference of missing 0 math questions and 1 math question is 1.25 in terms of raw points. This is probably rounded as 1 point (I’m actually not sure since I never went in-depth with raw scoring). This means that the highest raw score always converts to an 800; occasionally however, 1 point from the highest is still 800.
I don’t know if omitting one question and getting the rest right is different from missing one question and getting the rest right.</p>
