Hello everyone! I will be attending UIUC this fall as an accounting major and have a few questions regarding the completion of the business school’s math sequences. I took the ALEKS placement exam and can take MATH 115 & 234 based on my score. I can not take, however, MATH 220 & 221. The sequence I plan on completing is MATH 125 & 234. I just can not figure out whether or not I need to take a Pre-Req class for MATH 125. Does anyone know if there is a requirement in order to take MATH 125 at UIUC? Thanks!
According to the Course Explorer, the prerequisite is either MATH 012 (which is high school algebra), or an appropriate ALEKS score.
I saw that same exact page, and hopefully I’m correct in assuming that my current score is sufficient given that I am able to take Math 234, a higher level class.
