Math & TAG

Before I start, I really didn't mean to hijack the other thread, I just thought it woul be better to post there than create a new thread, but I guess I was wrong, sorry!

Ok so basically I couldn't get in to my math course this fall or the upcoming spring. I'm going to apply to UCSB & UCSD next fall, hopefully with TAG. And I was going to do my math course the same fall I'm applying, since it's very unlikely my CC will have summer school.

So does this mean that I can't sign TAG because I hadn't completed it prior? Will it lower my chances into getting into both UCs?

Thread bump!

Can anyone give me some input?

what math are you going to takein next fall??
its ok if your going to take pre-cal or calculus in fall 2010

Nope! I’m taking Math 160 - Statistics… would that still be ok?

Thank you for your email. If you are participating in the Transfer Admission Guarantee program (TAG) and have applied for admission for fall 2010, you will need to have the two English composition & one math course for IGETC completed by end of fall 2009. Courses to count toward major prep can be completed up through spring 2010 for admission purposes i.e., 60 UC transferable semester units, etc. Furthermore, you can take courses in the summer too but they will not be counted toward the 60 UC transferable semester units referred to above.
