Mathematical Economics, Computer science and Physics programs at Colgate University

Which of the three is the strongest at Colgate? I know the economics department is very well regarded and economics major seems to be the most popular one.
If you were to double major with computer science which ones would you choose and why? I am leaning towards physics and computer science double major but I mathematical economics and computer science double major sounds really good.
And finally, Is it correct that students usually will have to take 32 courses (28+4(core)) at Colgate?

Don’t worry, you have the time to decide when you are there already. You declare your major in your second year if I am not mistaken.
Some top students take 5 courses per semester.

Yes I heard about this. It is quite strange. I know we have the Core Curriculum but does it take a whole year? I know it consists of 4 courses in total. So does this mean I will be allowed to take intro courses in all of these subjects?

Some of your intended intro courses may fit into the required core courses. I don’t know the exact details.
