Matrices on Math II?

<li><p>Could there by 3 x 3 matrices?</p></li>
<li><p>All I really know about amtrices is to scale them and find the determinant for 2 x 2 matrices.</p></li>
<li><p>Will we need to be able to solve system of equations using matrces? How do they wrok? I never understood it.</p></li>

like for example will they ask:
what is the value of k if the line y=2x +k is tangent to the hyperbola x^2 - y^2=1
and how many questions are there on finding centres of ellipses and stuff like dat</p>

<p>you realize that you don't need to know THAT many things, as you are given many answer choices and you can always plug it into the calculator!</p>
