For me the experimental section was CR on section 2. It had 23 questions which was very strange. Did anyone else get that section?

My experimental CR was definitely section 3. It was about somebody searching for a ghost orchid in a Florida state park.

I had the math experimental section, I think section 3.
And what was the answer to the one with the volume, in cubic meters or something, and the one with the absolute value parabola one?

I correctly answered that question but maybe I am mis-remembering the answer, it was probably 1000.

The cubic meters one was 1000. And I stupidly wrote 0.1.

I know many people who wrote 0.1 and thats why i was wondering if that was right or not. Its all good though, skipped the last gridin.

I was just wondering, are the curves dependent on how well people did? or are they like preset before the test? thanks.

I think the whole purpose of the curve is to “standardize” the results, thus teh curve will depend on how people did

^ thanks :)

^so, we need to pray that everyone did terribly! :), YES im cruel like that lol

who says canadians are nice?

Haizzz…
I did it badly…
While everyone seemed to really “enjoy” the test :|!..
It’s just unfair and I’m just stup** lolz…
Anw, g’9 every one… =D

Haha ya everyone was saying how they thought this test was really easy especially the CR section, but I thought it was harder than the practices I’ve done… this is horrible… :(

I’m looking at a -3 raw in reading, -2/3 raw in math, and -4 raw in writing with 10 essay(ridiculously easy prompt)… is this good for somebody who did not prepare at all?

…BUMP…! I don’t wanna look at MATH/WRITING/CR MAY SAT threads, just this one for fun l0lz…
Anw, long time to go… =D

im quite certain the test is curved by the difficulty of each section, as determined by collegeboard, so it has nothing to do with anyone who takes it. thats why some of the practice tests in the collegeboard book have different grading scales; they are different difficulties, just like the different SATs have different curves

IT’s gonna be Tough… l0lz

Bump!..

Bump!..

@ alexxanderr: so do you mean that our results have nothing to do with the how the curve is set? So does this mean the curve is always predetermined by collegeboard? Can someone please clarify this? Thanks! :)

yeah the point totals for the raw score on each section are determined before you take the test, based on difficulty. so yeah, collegeboard sets the curve, but each test has a different “curve” because they do the scaling by section, and the tests are made up of sections of different difficulties
