Anyone know the answers for:

  1. Difference btw New Deal/ Great society? Was it like the civil rights thing?
  2. Conneticut compromise/convention? I don’t even remember the answer choices
  3. Suspending writs of habeas corpus? I put jackson, but I looked it up, and both Lincoln and Jackson suspended habeas corpus…? The only other thing I remember about the question is that the Jackson choice was for New Orleans (don’t remember the date) and the Lincoln Choice was for 1864 Maryland.
  4. Land ordinance?
  5. the one about the korean war… the choices were like:
    a) guerilla warfare
    b) chinese sent troops
    c) something about armistice
    d) UN troops
    e) idk
  6. the event in civil war that displayed racial, economic, and social tensions?

thank you all in advance (:

how about the one with fdr and landon in the election with the company that conducted the poll?

Wrong, it was Taylorism. See: [Scientific management - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Scientific management - Wikipedia).

@FloatesMcgoates: I have to disagree with you on taylorism, the answer is definitely that:
[Scientific management - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Scientific management - Wikipedia)
so schedules

ivycraze, I answered previously that

mercantilism protected american agricultural products

On the other question

The revenue chart, tarrifs was the correct answer
Weakness before 1939, agricultural prices was the correct answer, the farmers had overproduction as they expected World War 1 to last longer, when the war ended, there was too much supply and no demand, causing a steep drop in prices that plunged farmers into depression a decade ahead of the rest of the nation

@anaserena for 2 i think it was dealing with the issue of representation and for 3 i put jackson but not sure lol

clearly biased. not everyone owned cars and phones…DUH

for korea i put guerilla warfare but now im not sure.

sorry about the taylorism, I was answering the wrong question

floates, you are thinking of the populism question with coinage of silver. there was a poem about a worker’s normal day with whistles and lunch period.

For Korea, guerilla warfare was the correct answer.

They tried to trick you as guerilla warfare is associated with Vietnam.

it was the one that said something about developing their own culture. (: i wrote a paper on that last semester.

populism and taylorism were both correct answers to two different questions

Dang it.
I was about to change my answer to Taylorism from “cooperation among workers,” but we never learned about Taylorism and I’m tired of switching answers when I originally had the right one, so I didn’t.

collegebound, yeah I was answering the wrong question, the poem about the workday I recall the answer having to do with Labor unions

Im not sure what all this taylorism is about, that wasnt even an answer choice

I’m going to ask this again. Why was the economic quote question Hamilton? I believe I put Hoover or something because it seemed opposed to deficit spending.

Taylorism: “System of scientific management advocated by Fred W. Taylor. In Taylor’s view, the task of factory management was to determine the best way for the worker to do the job, to provide the proper tools and training, and to provide incentives for good performance. He broke each job down into its individual motions, analyzed these to determine which were essential, and timed the workers with a stopwatch. With unnecessary motion eliminated, the worker, following a machinelike routine, became far more productive.”

the event in civil war that displayed racial, economic, and social tensions?

can anyone awnser that one, was it the rivalry of the south

i put this too and i’m not sure anymore either.

act tester, The quote about the debt was answered earlier and the answer is Alexander Hamilton.

Hoover would appear to be a good answer, but he was in the 20th century, way after the issue of “cohesion of union” was resolved.
