ditto on paradox. I think it was obviously contradictory.

I think you were probably thinking about “Typical” as in typical behavior? But nothing in the sentence supports that, although it might seem right to say that in an everyday sense if you know what i mean.

Did the Hispanic girl’s family view the doll hanging incident=as humerous

^ I’m not sure about the “illusion” answer. I don’t recall ever getting “witty in broad range”. Passage 1 never acknowledged that technology made communication faster — i’m pretty sure both passage 1 and passage 2 made a comment about how some aspects of texting are harmful (e.g. “omg, btw”).

i think #30 - past perception to retrospective insight, but thank you for making that

9 I don’t remember that question.
She tied the doll to the tree so she wouldn’t fall off (had trouble balancing on branch) she took the doll up there to appease her mom…two different questions.
Be happy love baba. I’m pretty sure was a strong criticism on blunt command that’s not a common expression.
Both authors acknowledged that people were against the blogging, the second said: some are against blogging but im for it (paraphrased).The first outright denounced it as well.

@Sid

Agreed. The answer was the one something about how both authors acknowledge that people think texting is harmful.

what was the answer to the one about the artist answering the question of "And what would an art history major accomplish besides a sheep skin to bring my mother= learning the history of dancers

how did the author answer the question in lines xy=She first used to to indulge herself and determine good artistic standards, the classics

Same question, different answers???

@poler95
Great Job on making the list! These are the answers that I put that are in conflict with yours:
7. I thought it was that her parents had emotional needs that needed to be tended to
24. the earth is more than just astrophysical characteristics
31. overall standards of art
34. in particular

To add to the list (disregard the numbers):
- classic means eternal and something else
- the purpose of questions was NOT to describe lifelong regret
- Just a bunch of vocab answers:
harsh, benevolent
laconic
something, stolid
lessening, province
bohemian
serendipity, elixir
sinecure

@michael, i got all those answers (except for the astrophysical one…i’m still confident that the dude was telling us to ignore those scientists with his weird remark — even though that answer choice seems un-collegeboard-esque ).

Anyways, what was the question with “witty in broad range” as an answer… i don’t remember that at all.

I don’t understand why she tied the doll up there to please her mom…she specifically said it was dangerous so she tied it up there. So it is that she didn’t want to fall. And wasn’t it a blunt command? It isnt well known to say be happy. And she was sarcastic, that’s defined by being more severe and biting.
The rest I pretty much agree with (that I remember)
Thanks for the list!

@Divy, I don’t think that qualifies as harsh judgement in my books. The SAT tends to stray away from extremes — and when it IS extreme, its super obvious. The fact that we’re debating about it right now makes me want to side with the less extreme of the two. Also, “Be happy” was confirmed a common expression by something that the girl said in the sentence following it…I don’t recall what exactly it was, but perhaps it was the sarcastic comment.

As for the tying up thing…i can’t remember why i put down “to please her mother”…but there was a reason. It’ll come to me :D

witty in broad range was about the title of the book ‘Degrading Our Language: And Why We Should, Like, Care’ or something of the sort. I don’t remember putting witty in broad range, was one of the answer choices like intentional use of witty language or something?

is their any chance that anyone remembers a quote from any of the stories so we can get the short stories.

@Michael It was satire. Im 100% of it lol. Or in your case “intentional use of satire” ?

He was obviously poking fun at the people who use “Like, so, omg im so qt!”

Doas anyone remember the name of the stories so we can see them

I think people over thought that question, she said for dangers sake I tied it up. I think that verifies it. I think she said “be happy love baba. As if achieving this were that easy.” that was it. I think that one is a gray area…I guess we’ll see on that one…I see what you’re saying though.

Listen we can see now if someone remembers the name of any of the passages or any quotes from them.

@sid,
ok i dont think I put that. I think the witty language thing is a better answer, and thats what i put.
