<p>What did everyone think of this exam?</p>
<p>I thought it went pretty well. I was unsure about some of the later questions in the first section and some of the later questions in the second section, and then a couple in the third. (Section 1=sentence word choice, Section 2=passage word choice, Section 3=Passage analysis)</p>
<p>The only one I skipped was in the first passage in the second section; probably got around 10 other ones wrong on the test, maybe more. It did get hard toward the end of the first section and in the middle of the third section, in my opinion. especially the passage that began “los latinos decimos”…not a grammatical form i’ve seen before</p>
<p>Anyone else laugh at how unflattering the picture of Pablo Neruda was?</p>
<p>Was it, they arrived DE tren or EN tren…
I sat staring at that question for a good two minutes. Stuck with en tren… 
The passage with the white gorilla had a few tricky parts.
And agreed, towards the end of the first section it got tricky.</p>
<p>I couldn’t bring myself to omit any though -_-</p>

an answer with “rebaja”
“excursiones con guias bilingual” (that is probably wrong)
“enveultas” for one of them…? </p>
<p>and what did u guys get for the last passage, what is teh name of the actual program… i wasnt sure which program they were referring to because there was an old one, and a new one. but no mention of an actual one… </p>

<p>btw actual is a false cognate like actualmente. it means current. so the name of the program was the newer one</p>

Instead of excursiones con linguas bilingual, I put the one with the free car rides to the diff. cities. Since there was an ad for Puerto Vallarta, Cancún, and other stuff.</p>

But I’m not sure about tenaces or sabido. What was the context?</p>

<p>also i got profunda instead of envuelta, since it was saying that the roots were deeper (def. of profunda), whereas envuelta means wrapped in something</p>
<p>I got profounda too. I put llamado but I’m not sure. What was the escobado question?? I don’t remember that one. And that monkey passage was really hard I thought.</p>
<p>I’m gonna have to disagree with a couple things but know I’m not trying to assert my answer over urs…</p>
<p>But I put fumar. I remember learning that you don’t ever really use the gerund outside of esta “gerund”. Plus I did a translation and it concurs with using the Infinitive fumar </p>
<p>And I put se llama. Se llama is passive voice so it translates to, the chimp is called= el chimp se llama…</p>
<p>but se llama implies that it calls itself that. plus, there was a comma after chimpanc</p>
