*****MAY 2015 INTERNATIONAL SAT*****

Isn’t that “giving mild exception”? At least that’s what I said.

@whereami I am not sure. Cr is my weakest section.

@gegri123 the musician question was in present tense. So I think, all the answers were wrong

@gegri123 what q was that?

@gegri123 the answer will be: than they can with

@gegri123 Yeah I went with that too, strongly opposed was just to extreme but it is still a possible answer… What did you put for “what perspective is this passage written in” or something

@ZGMFX42SDestiny yes that’s it ! It was the only choice with a verb and a with too. I think

@Hannah69 DNA passages. Relationship between Passage 1 and Passage 2. I said “Passage 2 takes mild exception to arguements put forth by the author of Passage 1”. I remember it was “B”.

YES IT WAS THAT @gegri123

I get so excited with caps.

@Hannah69 but the given answer was:than they could with
The correct answer will be :than they can with as the question was in present tense
So I think none of the answers was correct

Wait what. I remember there was one choice with a verb and a with and I went for that. @ZGMFX42SDestiny

For that question I went with “than they could with…” it was a parallel structure and the tense was conditional so only “could” worked. If it was present then “can with” would be the answer

So that’s why I am confused as to was it could or can. That was a tricky one .

@Hannah69 The correct answer will be :than they can with as the question was in present tense
So I think none of the answers was correct
But it was not given in the options

@whereami10 I kind of thought so. What really just made me overlook the tense that there was only ONE choice that had a verb and with. So I was like well that’s the only parallel structure so f**** it .

@Hannah69 the given options were :
Than They can/than they could with /with/can

However, the correct answer will be :than they can with as the question was in present tense

There is no “with”. The answer was “then they can”. The word with wasn’t a part of the parallel structure because the with was used in “with more ease”.

@whereami10 is correct it was conditional.
Than they can traditional instruments > fragment
Than they could with traditional instuments > works as it is parallel
Than with traditional instruments> faulty comparison

Than can traditional instruments> we can all tell it doesn’t work bc well instruments can’t do anything

That was a really tricky and if somebody can remember the exact question, we can analyze it
