*****MAY 2015 INTERNATIONAL SAT*****

contented (kənˈtɛntɪd)
adj

  1. accepting one’s situation or life with equanimity and satisfaction. Were the actors feeling satisfaction? because I still remember in the passage that said that it was the first time that the director allowed them to roll down their windows

@gegri123 @paoloppd IDK I can’t even remember. But, I think yes they were more contented than awestruck.
The awestruck part was when their director expressed his approval.
As for the recklessness q. Asked my mate who has her tutor. She said that choice is wrong. They were not reckless nor irresponsible. They were more free or something like that.

@Hannah69, the reason why I say is probably more awestruck than contented is that during the passage the author says it was the first time that they were surprised by the permission of rolling their windows down. But they did it with wary because they wanted to be ok for the play. “awestruck awe-stricken
adjective impressed, shocked, amazed, stunned, afraid, frightened, terrified, cowed, astonished, horrified, intimidated, fearful”. I actually was between both of those choices, but I chose awestruck because was more restated in the passage.

The second question, the answer was a cheerfulness and freedom as I remember.

@paoloppd true. Seems legit. I was stuck between these 2. And now I can’t even remember what I chose ( which is frustrating to say the least)
And as for the second answer. It was something like that.

@Hannah69 lol hannah I actually didnt want to push you to say which answer was correct or not hehe because now that I read my post it sounded a little bit rude. I actually really hope that everyone gets a good score in this test.

@paoloppd didn’t sound rude in anyway really. You were making a point there. God do I hope we do well on this test.

Checking the US thread of the May SAT makes me feel anxious about my score, I just want to overcome this lol.

Nah. It will all be well. 4 more weeks till we are done for good.

It was contended,… Simply because awestruck is far too extreme and you should never go for extreme answers @Hannah69

@whereami10 I am siding with contented. awestruck as you stated is too extreme

Guys does anyone remember the answer for the one in the vocab that had choices “mortality” and "pregnancy "?. Also i heard that there is a huge possibility that the scores might be delayed for 5 weeks. is that true ?

Was pregnancy as I know, where do you heard about the 5 weeks delay. I have been watching all the post about this may sat and nothing about a delay. Every time, I log in in the college board website seems normal, 2 days to go, so nothing about a delay.

Guys, can someone please tell me what time marks come out in Dubai?

my scores got delayed. anybody else got his delayed?

So far my scores says 1 day left

Scores will be delayed in Egypt just like they were last time. Gutted I have to wait 5 weeks. Who else is in the same situation?

Where is my home boy hannah?? He may also get his scores delayed

Well, well, why aren’t we surprised at all? First the Koreans, then the Chinese, and now the Egyptians. Racial profiling at its finest. Wonder why Val hasn’t commented on this sudden new twist in the ongoing SAT scandals that is now targeting Middle Easterners. Of course, if Schiffner and Farce Test had their way, we’d just abolish any and all forms of standardized testing and revert to etching our initials on cave walls.

Im not quite sure is about a racial concern or something to related to. Maybe the collegeboard saw an irregularity of the process in the Egypt testing, who knows.

My scores are saying available soon rather than one day to go. Are my scores delayed or just saying available soon today?
