@Pinguman123 For the blockbuster QN, I remember picking misgivings as one of the answers
Really hope I can see the paper again and we can discuss the answers hahaha
@Pinguman123 Another qn was talking about the similarity between Weinstein movie and the Godfather movie. What was your answer? I picked both valued artistic vision but I was skeptical cause both didn’t expect their movie to be such a hit as well.
Another qn was about the differences between both passages. I picked the answer passage one talk about the merchandise affected by blockbusters but passage 2 did not. What was your answers?
@SATscorer I got “misgivings” too (works with “Doubt”), and I did get both valued artistic stuff.
And yes, I also got something about P1 valuing merchandise more (which is a financial/economic thing)
@Pinguman123 Haha glad we got the same answers! Any other qns you remember? And for the short passage for the past affecting the future qn what was your answer?
- Star Wars - Passage 1 said financial/Passage 2 said personal artistic experience?
- Both passages stated blockbuster was A GOAL
- Misgivings = reservations
- Which of these questions was not explicitly stated in the passage - whether or not the movie was a financial success (Not sure if I put this one!)
- Jaws - unenthusiastic
- Passage 1 stated an idea that Passage 2 disagreed with
- Reason for question - bring up a different but relevant idea
- Both filmmakers were focused more on artistic rather than financial value
- Implied that BLOCKBUSTERS WERE NOT MADE WITH TOP-DOWN PLANNING
- Passage 2 would say fundamentally wrongheaded (I skipped this one)
Don’t remember the last 3 questions. If possible, could you try to remember the questions from this dual passage lol?
The Jaws one I put ambivalent tho…
And I remember the unanswered one I picked "what it cost him to blah blah blah
The last question in first CR section, was it psychological and physical personal choices?
Was that an experimental section? I got no idea what that is about
@kbj5332 don’t think so
onerous
exhaustive
vexed….ludicrous
connotation
pregnancy
blank…supposition
fantastic
idiosyncratic
evoke…brimming
invective
exceed

- I can’t remember this qn but I think I picked the one that passage 1 gives a view while passage 2 challenges that view
- can’t RMB this qn either.
- misgiving = reservations as well
- yup i also picked the same answer as you. They didn’t state the financial success of the Weinstein movie
- got jaws as unenthusiastic as well
- can’t RMB this qn or mixed it up with the first qn
- can’t RMB this either haha. But what qn did he ask maybe I’ll rmb after that
- I got the same answer as you
- I got the same answer as you
- I got the same answer as you
Sorry I can’t rmb much
@SATscorer Thanks!
To anyone in general, does anyone remember the other short passage besides the one about the person who made a poll on filing complaints, or the questions to the Louis Armstrong passage?
@Pinguman123 Hi, I had those 2 passages as well. And I got another short passage about the past affecting the future.
Hi, can anyone predict the curves for math, CR and WR? Like how many mistakes you can lose before it’s not a 800.
Math - curve is always harsh; any question wrong and goodbye 800. This test may especially be harsh (it was relatively easy), so
-1 = 770?
-2 = 750 or even 720
CR - not so sure. Maybe -1 is 800. Really curious what would make above 700 though (58 or 59 raw?)
Writing - it all depends. -2 if a 12 essay, -1 if 11, none if 10 or 9 essay?
@SATscorer Do you remember any of the questions from that “future” passage? I might remember but my mind’s kinda fuzzy lol.
Btw guys, what was the answer of the math question where it was stated that r<t and k is such a multiple like r<k<t
So, how many possible values of k are there.
What is the answer guys?
that CR question about:
compared to “cradle to grave” “cradle to gate” is more what? I chose more common.
passage discussed the matter over recycling as a casual observer?
@jiahandu “cradle to gate” is less comprehensive (doesn’t focus a lot of stuff like “cradle to grave”)
The person was a knowledgeable (he knows the stuff) supporter (he supports it in the last paragraph)
