I'm nowhere near ready... I haven't really read any history review book but im averaging 770-800 on practice tests so whatever. I haven't looked at precalc or algebra two in a over a year so math2 might not work out so well. And for physics... i'm not even in the right class. I'm in physics C and have never even looked over waves, optics, sound, thermal, or modern physics so we'll see what i can learn in a day.

Get ready all you Bio kids!
I'm new to the SAT II's but I found SparkNotes' prep and it's great! They even offer most of it free online--gotta love that SparkNotes!
Two days away . . .

Hi everyone,
I hope you all do well. I'm taking Biology E...I think. I might peep at the M section on Saturday. I'm so nervous! I'm cramming...I stayed home for two days, not going to school tomorrow either. Advice please? I heard that it's not as easy as it sounds. I'm studying from AP books.
Thanks.
And best wishes to you all:)

haha Jenife i skipped school for 2 days too!...ahh

wow you guys skip school just to study? hardcore......
do you guys use a "sick" excuse? :P hahahah i wish i could do that but i dont think my parents would let me......

Math IIC, Biology, Chemistry, on the same day.

Still haven't decided to take E or M, since on practice tests I do well on either one.

Yeah, I'm ready.... to die. I'm so nervous for the USH test because Barrons keeps giving me really low scores... GAH. ONE MORE DAY.

Either the True/False section on the SAT Chem test is inhumane, the Barron's book is inhumane, or both. Why are these questions foisted on chemistry students anyway, where there are several ways to screw up, even if you reason correctly? What distinguishes chemistry from physics or biology so that we have to get slaughtered by these questions?

Enrollment in AP Chem does little to help... Are questions on the types of labs in the Barron's book on the real test? Y'know, with the Dumas (where water is prepared), or the one where you get H2 gas by reacting a dilute acid with an active metal? We've never done those labs (as they're not required for AP, apparently), and the Barron's book does not provide explanations for ANY phonomena. How the crap am I supposed to know where the gas will end up if a delivery tube is below the fluid level? Well, I guess the Barron's book is inhumane there.

Wonder if I should take math IIC first, or chem...

Everyone Good Luck!!!!

ahhhhhhh. do you guys use sparknotes for us history? omg, im getting such bad scores on the practice tests. im screwed..... ):

I don't like it much either :/

I'm taking Bio M, ush, and math II.

I'm pretty screwed for math, but bio and ush will be okay.

my D is taking math1, ush, literature tomorrow also... she did not study! too busy with class president, jrotc coast guard, and she just came from a close-up trip to NY.. I'm very nervous for her.. Anyway she can always have a second chance in October... i guess.... good luck to all of you !

Chem: Haven't studied, relying on my AP studying to help me.
Bio: Reason why I'm not at school today, trying to get all information into head as quick as possible (not entirely working).

I don't want to cancel my scores, and I should have staggered the tests, but I'm an idiot...

haha.. i managed to get about 2/3 of the physics syllabus and am currently skimreading the rest of this damn prep book.

OMG! Damn the plentiful technologies abundant today which distract us into perpetual procrastination e.g. guitars, skateboards, video games, movies, music, music, video games, sleep, food.... hhahah im So nervous!

can I just pipe in here as a parent..and say I don't think anyone but students who simply ace standardized tests with ease should be taking three SATIIs in one sitting? Go for having some thought, intent and control over the material. You have June 7 for another one! I know too many great SAT testers who screwed up casually showing up for SATIIs on beautiful spring mornings unprepared. These are factoid trivia tests. Spread them out. They aren't that bad to prep for but be realistic. You can take these in the fall as well...if you strategize your plan for testing.

I'm taking Chem, USHistory and Math II. I need to take some practice tests tonight to prepare...crap!

I'm taking Literature. It doesn't seem very popular. I wonder why; it's the only English-testing SAT II, after all. :( I want to be able to worry about and discuss it with other people.

I'm fairly well prepared for it, I believe. I've practiced a lot, studied the literary terms, and aggrandized my lexicon a bit (Kaplan's practice tests have evil words, so it was a necessity). But I regret not spreading out my practice more. It was heavily concentrated in the past two weeks, and I'm taking three and a half practice tests today alone. My practice tests are good, so I hope I score in their range. :)

I'm take the US History, Chem, and Math I.

I've taken practice test for chem and math and im great in them, mostly cuz of AP chem!

For the actual test what do they give us, just a periodic table? Any reference tables for like numbers? (they had one in my review book)

US history o_O omg I'm screwed for that and for the AP

You will ONLY get a periodic table. You can't remove it from the booklet.

It probably saves time to know the atomic and molecular weights of elements and compounds!
