i think there was an answer for crave passage that
“aesthetic and blah blah”
was it?

-tlstoqur 7 yes, I got that one…

for the accomplished artists one i think im right because the paintings the question was referring to in passage one were TEXTBOOK paintings, and guthrie said that the teenager paintings dont usually go on textbooks, so i assume they were done by accomplished artists. the other ones dont really make sense… it was something baout data or evidence for natural history i think…

guys provide more questions on vocab and the space/time one… that’s what we are mainly missing.

Sauternety - If the mentioning of textbooks was referring to a genre of cave paintings that were not all done by teenagers, I didn’t catch that. The only thing I remember about textbooks was that Guthrie said something like “these teenage paintings don’t belong in textbooks.”

I’m guessing nobody has a copy of The Nature of Paleolithic Art by Guthrie lying around? :)

ask for purpose of that
i think there were three plausible choices:
proposal
paradox
demonstrate an impulse

@caperi lol im going on google books

the offer a proposal was the question about the rhetorical question. wasnt that the one with the paradox answer choice also…

does anyone remember what the evocative and moving one was about

OH I REMEMBER it was DEFINITELY emphasize a paradox.

@thedeparter
oh
i can’t remember exactly but i think i chose “demonstrate an impulse” for that q

yeah, definitely paradox!

ok for the whales one which question was “- Appreciation of limitations vs. Disadvantages and advantages” I mean what was the question?

-STILL WAITING TO CONFIRM THE “early attempts” question

^this

cant ppl remember the last two questions on the cave thing

what were the answers?

and yeah I got emphasizing a paradox. =)

I think I remember eliminating paradox, but I forget what I actually put… ■■■ this is starting to look like a pretty bad test for me.

Pretty sure “Business: Difficulty/Limitations?” was one carried on from an experimental. I don’t remember seeing it, neither do a lot of people.

In Cave Paintings “offer a proposal” was an incorrect answer to one of the general comprehension ones at the beginning, not sure which.

Also, I don’t like to believe that the author from the University of Alaska in passage 2, was being cited as credible. They explained in some detail how devoted he was to the subject. Everyone seems 100% on it though so im prob wrong

@thedeparter the last two questions were “sympathize” and “general agreement”, i THINK.

Found the Guthrie book btw
