May SAT 2011: Math Section

Yea i understand that was the answer but I am trying to recall what exactly the problem was because, I don’t remember what I put.

I’m confident about my .3%

Does anybody know if the math section with the question about 6 adults and 6 children on two rafts was the experimental section? :(

^^ yea your right. i got .003 on my calc and didnt know what to do with it so i just put .03

did anyone have 3^10,000/(3^10,001)-1 as a last question?

Anyone remember the answer to the one solving for x on the triangle w/ one side as x+4 and hypotenus x+4?

@glaivitas 4*root(2). Does anyone remember getting an angle of 10

@glaivitas I remember that one… I think I chose 4 multiplied by radical 2.

@amsam321 Yep I got 10 degrees for that right triangle where y = 40 ;D

yes! ten where a right triange it was choice A

anyone get y/x for something
and all 3 choices for something?

and i had one with a house and a bike and 58 miles or something? i put C? wth… and a chart with percent decrease. which one was that? i put decrease by .02percent.

so does anyone know the answer to the quadrant question? is it 0 or 1/4?

pretty sure it’s 0.

@NspiredOne The one with all three choice was a graph and it had something like g(-2) > g(1) and a g() - g() = 0.

The one about a bike and 58 mph was experimental

I thought the math was unusually difficult :frowning: Damn my nerves.

I got y/x for one question with fractions, and all three choices for… something XD My memory sucks. I think the house and bike must’ve been experimental.

Did anyone put both I and II for multiples of 13 that appear in 14 consecutive numbers?

I’m not a math person, but I don’t see how it could possibly be anything other than 0. If it’s in the second quadrant, at least one of the coordinate has to be negative. There would be no chance of it being in the second quadrant.

Anybody try the A to the 2/3 question with a fraction because I can’t seem to get it to work

I’m surprised so many people are asking about the quadrant one. I got that right away, and I’m awful at math (550s on practice tests)
