May SAT CR Thread

The butler was eager before he realized how daunting the task was.

^ True that.

I sure as hell hope I got a 700. Here’s hoping 58 is a 700, I have at least like 7-8 mistakes if I had to guess.
Why are the curves just murderous these days, ugh. Do you guys think 2 mistakes still qualifies as an 800 in this test?

By the way, does anybody ever post the Q&A up here if they purchase it? I have the one for January if anyone’s nostalgic and it hasn’t been posted. Sure hope someone puts the one for May up later on.

What do you think a 61 raw will be? Write both generous and harsh

@Jimmy I think eveytime two wrong is a 800.

BUMP!.. Going on waiting for…
Got a B :(

61 raw probably 710 harshest, 740 most generous. I’d guess for this test 720, though possibly 730.

@Joey- on the list of released SAT curves, on every test -2 is an 800, and on a few 64/67 is 800, but in January -2 was 790 and in March -2 was 780, and this one was comparable to January’s in my opinion… I hope -2 is 800 on this test, but I doubt it at this point.

@btang- I believe there was.

^ This was harder than Jan and also harder than March.

Only a little harder than March though.

I thought it was easier than January haha. But I certainly hope the curve reflects it being more difficult. The January one sucked… -2=800 would be great

Lol, before the Jan SAT -2 800 was the norm.

for the ‘pursue different avenues’ question… i remember picking Choice E… was that it?

Wow i had no clue that the curves were so bad. Hope it is not going to head in that direction.

I ommitted one, and missed 10

what would the score be? i just want to have an estimation before i break my heart on the 20th…

was this one of the last sentence completion sentences? like number 7 or 8…cuz i remember putting E which was succinctly

for the mexican artist Q5,
I put dramatize one’s own history…not sure…

@nocrackup 10 wrong w/ one omit is 650-660.

does anyone remember which letter was the answer: “humans have become overshadowed by technology”? I’m thinking C or D

I don’t think the curves are starting to descend. It’s just chance that the three this year have been less favorable

I found the chimpanzee passage in a book while at the library! - it’s called Chimpanzee Travels- On and Off the Road in Africa, by Dale Peterson, and the passage is on p. 178-179. :)

Too bad I can’t really remember the exact questions…

what page on this thread is the longest/best consolidated list

760 *****essss
