Consensus seems to be joint-stock for VA/MA (I think that was a bad question, however), and manufacturing and trade for Spanish colonization.

I said Joint Stock Companies differed VA/MA from Peru/Mexico

Industrialist philosophy. Social Darwinism or reform darwinism?

social 10char

I also think INFLATION didn’t happen during the Depression. That was deflation, right?

Social darwinism

I totally aced this test. Everything was in The Essential Content ie the new version of DH. British colonies funded by joint-stock companies and Spanish by the Crown.

There were a lot of ambiguous questions on this test. There were less fact questions and more trend questions which bothered me. I took Hon U.S. History 2 years ago, however I have an excellent foundation due to the fact that I am on the Quiz Bowl team. I answered all of the questions, but there were definitely some spotty guesses.

Wait I’m getting lost in these posts…did someone say that the last question was a quote form a populist leader?

yea Arobins, inflation was the correct answer

EDIT: Nevermind. Interpreted question wrong.

Guys it’s the same as the may 2009 sat 2 for us history some guy posted the link in the thread already page 10 i think

@CalvinTBOD correct it was over production to less consumption or something like that

The 2009 thread came to the consensus that he correct answer was inflation.

Inflation did NOT happen in the Great Depression.

Based on the difficulty of the test, do you think we’ll be given a generous curve?

Has anybody had any luck finding the curve based on the June 2011 and/or May 2009 tests?

what was the answer to the one with the map with the dots representing slaves? I put that railroads helped move slavery west because on the map there were railroads drawn with clusters of slaves all around the railroad, but im not sure if that’s right

swaggerjoe, from what I’ve seen from those threads, it looks like a raw 80 is enough for a scaled 800. friends of mine from last year agree with this.

funny thing is? based on the answers you guys synthesized, I have exactly a raw 80. shaking in my boots

What was the time period for that girl singing in the poster?
