So I’m going to be a business major for undergrad and I haven’t ruled out the possibility of going to law school eventually. I would really like to do political science and history however I feel that that really limits my opportunities post graduation if law school ends up not working out. So that being said, how should I prepare for MAYBE going onto law school after undergrad? clubs or something??? also since i am 50/50 would it make sense to take the LSAT senior year just so that I have the score in case i need it?? any advice would be helpful!!
Concentrate on undergrad. Keep your grades up and law will always be available. Spend your time now interning and seeing what various jobs are really like. Don’t feel the need to decide too soon.
- Keep your GPA up.
- Take a class on logic if you can. It will help on the LSAT.
- Work on your writing. Your business classes may not be very helpful on this, unfortunately. Take some history or English electives to sharpen your skills.
Good luck.
Study, study, study- get the best grades you can, regardless of major, and develop good reading/writing/research skills.
