Hi, I just finished my junior year at USC's Marshall School of Business and I'm already researching MBA programs. I seriously believe that at USC there is major grade deflation and my gpa is not good. So, I was wondering if it's easier to get into a great MBA program when focusing on entrepreneurship. We all know about the stereotypes when it comes to entrepreneurship. Any advice would be appreciated. thx

I think you are into entrepreneurship than you need to sho success as an entrepreneur. If you have success as an entrepreneur than you probably don’t need an MBA, but if you think you do than an EMBA would probably be a better route.

Personally, I think entrepreneurship school is an oxymoron. You lear Entrep. by doing and you do it successfully you don’t need the education because you already learned it through the University of Life.

Yes, you have a point. My concentration is in marketing right now and I thought entrepreneurship would be a great area to study for my masters. Fyi, I wont be participating in my own new business creation right out of college nor do I have the start-up costs. I want to gain work experience and maybe after I make enough money, I’ll invest in my own business.

I’m worried about gpa right now and was wondering if it helps to add that I want to pursue entrepreneurship when applying to good mba programs.
