What exactly is a MBA? What does it stand for? Why do you need one? For what majors? Would an economics and finance major be better with one if they wanted to go into a stock broker or trader job??? Where do you go to get a MBA? Also if you want to go to business school, do you have to go after you graduate from you initial school witha degree in finance or something? Please help I am really interested!!!

Masters in Business Administration

People usually get MBAs to either become or advance their careers as investment bankers or consultants. It's best to get it at a top business school because sometimes the degree can really mean nothing if you get it from a lower tier school. You don't need any business background to get an MBA. Many people from LAC's and engineering schools get them, too. Even if the degree stands for Masters in Business Administration, that doesn't mean you need one to become an entrepreneur and start/own a business. It's usually a degree to help advance your career in the financial field.
