So, who's taking the MCAT next month? What are you doing to prepare? Are you retaking it?

I am taking it for the first time (hopefully the only time) and am doing self-study from some old Kaplan books.

Really? I am the only one?

yeah, list your undergrad experience so far?

Are you gonna list yours?? :)

I earned my BS in Bioengineering in Dec 2002. Now I am in graduate school for Chemical Engineering and will graduate in May 2006.

I am planning to apply to the 2006 entering class for med school.

2009 student here...hehee..going premed at U of R, will prolly do Bio-neuroscience, taking mcats in 3.5 years..hehe

Just wondering, is it a major advantage to have a graduate degree when you apply to med school?

probably, schools like maturity. It means success, but being too old is detrimental i hear.

Yeah, I've been told several times that my age will be a problem. (I'll be 31 when I enter medical school (assuming I get in). 10% of the matriculants to the CCF/CWRU med school are over 30, though, so I may have a good chance there.
We'll see, I guess.

best of luck, what are your undergrad/grad schools?
