i will be attending UCR next year and i was wondering if it is ok for me to start studying/prep for the MCATS. ALso i will be an intern at my uncles arcitectural/engineering firm since i will be doing bioengineering next year. I hope to master AutoCAD during my intership. O ya um i can go into the ER at a hosiptal in Mexico since one of me cousins is a doctor down there and he said that i might be able to help deliver a baby?!!

I will (hopefully) get an internship at the EPA.

hopefully doing nothing but going to the beach and laying in the sun ;)

A week after my graduation, I will go to Texas and enjoy my time at Six Flags. I will do biomedical engineering research at UVA, so I can get some money for college. I will also prepare for the MCATs and hang out with my friends.

WOW, you've already started to prepare for the MCATS?

nothing. Thank god. It's about time i have a normal summer.

lol props to that

I'm sorry but I have to do this....i'm headed to union college's leadership in medicine program.....no MCATs required!!!!!!!! HA!!!!!!!

lol, sry, too hard

I'm hoping to get a job as a math tutor at my state U. I'm also hoping to find some physics professor who would let me in on her research, but my state U isn't big on that, so I'm not counting on it. I'll probably take a math course or two on top of that.

I also have about fifteen pounds and a milky pale complexion to lose (going to Vandyland... uh-oh), so whenever I'm not belaboring academic matters I will be running or swimming.

One question: Is preparing for the MCATs before you even start college a normal pre-med practice?

wrathofgod64: nothing. Thank god. It's about time i have a normal summer.

I concur.

beach house for a week with one group of friends
another for another week with another group of friends
backpacking across india with another group of friends
and then back home to pack for surfing and kayaking in North Carolina.
Then orientation! woooo

one summer where I don't have to do anything for college.
Mmmmm

lol i just died of laughter when i heard people were prepping for the MCAT...hahahahahahaa

I will be taking classes to get some requirements out the way eg. Ceramics(art credit) and history classes. Yea.. more school after a lackluster senior year.

I'm moving and then I'm getting a job to save up money for school.

i'll be partying in england, and NOT prepping for the mcat

Nothing. Academic boot camp awaits ;-).

i have an internship that i have been doing for like 9 months now... so i will continue that. but i also plan to try out for american idol(!) and yeah chillllllllllllll.

TAing at UC Berkeley ATDP.

My parents are making me get a job.

ramsfan

I'm so jealous that you get to go to academic boot camp! ... I'm beginning to think that I might be somewhat abnormal.

take an intro fizx class (i never did it high school)
which probably should help out immensely since im going to be in a med. program

and the KOREA BABY!!!!

I'm trying to find a good summer job so I'll have a nice-sized bank account when I get to college. Hopefully Sitel (a customer service call center) will hire me...their pay is great and it's easy work.
