Hi all, I'm trying to complete my fall class schedule but still debating which MCB course to take. I'm also preparing for the MCAT, so I'd prefer the class that'll make life a bit easier. Does anyone know which course (mcb c100a, 132, 136, or 143) is the easiest? Most worthwhile? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

if you are looking for an easy class you probably shouldn’t be looking for an MCB course.

Also, MCB 143 is a new class, so nothing is known.
MCB 136 is also purported to be exceptionally difficult.

Cool. thanks for the speedy reply! Unfortunately, the MCB class is for the major elective. Lame, huh!?

If you were looking for an easy major you shouldn’t have chosen MCB.

Not C100A, it’s really hard and not very relevant (more physics than bio or chemistry really).

132 seems interesting and not too difficult, I would probably take that. But if you’re premed, I guess 136 would be best.

I ended up taking 132 - Bio. of Cancer. Great intro cancer course. It wasn’t too difficult, and the material was very interesting. The mean usually fell between 64-70, so overall fair curve.
