How is this class in the spring? I've heard some horror stories about the class overall but they were mostly from people who took it in the fall. Any info about this class, fall or spring, would be appreciated.

Was pretty bad in Fall, mostly because of the second professor. His tests were pretty impossible and the class had to be heavily curved. I got an A- even though I probably had a 60% in the class, maybe less. Would have been an A if I had cared more about problem sets and in class quizzes lol.

Thanks for the reply. Just wondering, was the impossible prof Kuriyan or the other guy? Also, what was the style of the class? Was it more like a chemistry class than a bio one?

Doudna Cate. I think he taught the part Wemmer teaches. The first part of the class was like powerpoint presentations and the questions/tests were short answers. The second part was all him deriving equations on his tablet. And there were actual problems… it felt like a physics class much more than bio or chem honestly.

Ahh I see. I like physics, so maybe I’ll enjoy it. How would you rate its difficulty/workload compared to the other MCB or “pre-med” classes?
