I haven't taken mcb 110 yet, can I take 140? is 140 harder or easier than 148?
Should I take 3 cores (mcb 100b, physics 8B and mcb 148/140) together? I am pretty suck in physics.

Just so you know, according to the IB UG adviser, MCB 140 is one of the hardest MCB courses in existence. If you can avoid MCB 140 and take something else instead, by all means do it.

really? thank you. I thought 140 would be "a little" more interesting.... than 148. Would taking 3 classes together kill me though? I am pretty dumb...

You're "supposed" to take 110 before or at the same time as 140. But you can take the class without 110, no one will throw you out. An understanding of the central dogma (dna->rna->protein) is really all you need to know to take 140 anyway.

That schedule looks doable. 140 was pretty tough but 100b was the easiest of the BMB courses imo.

I think I am gonna go with 148. is the subject in 148 interesting? How easy is 100b compare to 100a?

100b is more conceptual. No math at all. A lot of questions like "if enzyme X is defective, what effect will it have on the product of some related pathway". The second half of the class was basically all memorization. The material in 100b was easier than 100a. But of course that means the curve is higher as well. Good luck!
