McCain: Frustrated, Angry, Old.., and Scurrilous

How can anyone vote for Obama after that?

I’m not here to debate the history of political philosophies. You sound pretty confident on your knowledge of neoconservatism, so I’ll just say that you win and let’s stop discussing this.

If the best that McCain can do is try to be an Obama doppelganger, then he loses. People want the real thing, not a decrepit, uninspiring, and septuagenarian version of it.

I can help you.

[Barack Obama’s 2002 Speech (Lessig Blog)](http://www.lessig.org/blog/2008/01/barack_obamas_2002_speech.html)

The speech was given on October 2002. The war in Iraq started in March of 2003.

That guy is most likely one of the few Hillraisers left who refuse to support Obama because Hillary was their best hope of continuing the big-moneyed oligarchy that defined Clintonism. Obama’s grassroots base threatens their disproportionate amount of influence in Washington. In other words, his opinion is worthless, and his thousands of dollars can easily be replaced by many small donors.

Well then nbachris I was wrong. Thanks for the info. Now that I know Mr. Obama publically put himself on the spot before the war I can safely say he has the high ground on who to blame for the Iraq War. One more point for Obama I guess. Though I still have my doubts on other issues.

Such as? Maybe we can talk about them.
