McGill Admission

I’m a Canadian student who studies in Taiwan (US high school curriculum).
I looked at the requirement for US schools and I don’t entirely meet the standard, so I was wondering if anyone knows how flexible the requirements are? Would I be disqualified immediately if I don’t meet a certain aspect of the requirements?
The following is a breakdown of my average grades and test scores:
math grades: 88
sciences: at least an A- (biology, AP bio, chemistry, AP chemistry, physics)

ACT: 33; W: 32, M: 35, R: 32, S:31

Are you asking about McGill, or are you asking about universities in the USA?

Regardless, it would be hard to estimate your chances without knowing your full GPA.

For schools in Canada your grades from grade 9 won’t matter. There are a lot of universities in Canada, and for a Canadian citizen they are mostly quite economical. You would apply the same way as any other student who is studying the US curriculum, but in Canada you would pay tuition as a Canadian citizen.

There are a huge number of universities in the US, and you would get into quite a few of them (assuming other grades are similar to what you listed, and your references are fine). However, they can be quite expensive for an international student.

@DadTwoGirls
Just regarding McGill, but I’m also applying to other Canadian schools as well. Many students from my school have applied and have been accepted to U of T and UBC, but almost none have applied to McGill so the counselor is also unfamiliar with the admission.
The GPA system in my school is kind of different. The full unweighted is 4.3 and honor courses are given 4.8. I still need to check with my school’s counselor. My accumulated GPA (a rising senior) is 4.2.
Hope that helps

depends on major etc

@wertu12 I’m looking at the faculty of life science and the faculty of arts and science
