Hey everyone,

I've gotten into McGill and several schools that I really love in the US. However, I live in Europe and I'm about to take my final IB exams. But of course, like your average senior, I'm suffering from incredible senioritis.

So, my question is, do I still have to "try" on my exams? I'll study for them but I probably won't work my butt off since I've already been accepted.

Does McGill ever change their minds about applicants in late August if their IB scores suck? I got predicted a 41 if that helps.

Thanks for any info!

They probably would not change their minds by late August; however, you may lose the credits that IB earn you.

I hope the same applies for Advanced Level (ALEVEL) exams…

Yea, you don’t have to work overly hard, but it should say somewhere, maybe Minerva, something along the lines of you need to receive the IB diploma for their acceptance to remain applicable. And judging from the fact that you were predicted 41 (is that with or without your bonus points?), I’d say passing is no problem for you . So yea, don’t completely slack, but you can afford to relax a bit .
Congrats on getting in ^^

OK, thanks very much! And thanks for the good news, caliScio :D
