McGill appeal

Hii I got refused admission from McGills Faculty of management with a IB predicted of 39/42 with a 6 in Math SL. The cut off on the website though is 36 with a 6 in math sl. Do you feel they overlooked something and it’s worth appealing the decision?

The website also states that meeting or exceeding the minima does not guarantee acceptance. Desautels is the most selective program at McGill.

Here is McGill’s policy for admissions appeal:
“Reconsideration of an Admission Decision
Any applicant who has been denied admission may submit a written request for reconsideration to the admissions office which denied admission. The time frame for making this request, as well as supporting information requirements, are available in Procedure for Requesting Reconsideration of an Admission Decision. As noted, requests will be processed after April 1. Due to timing and space constraints, it is not possible to reconsider any decisions made after June 30. Similarly, reconsideration is not possible for transfer/second degree, special, or visiting applicants.”

You may need to call Service Point for details.

EDIT: You have been accepted to UBC, Toronto and Queen’s so unless McGill is your first choice an appeal would not be worth it.

yeah thanks for the link, mcgill was my first choice that’s why I was concerned
