McGill chances

Please chance me :) this is kind of hypothetical...I'm giving two different situations, so please just give me chances for both (I'm trying to increase my test scores and actually take two more SATIIs by STUDYING LIKE A CRAZY WOMAN). Ok here goes. Applying for Bachelor's of Arts

Situation A: Reality
SAT1: 720-610-700, Biology SATII: 730
AP scores: Euro 5, Art History 5, Biology 4, English Lang 4, English Lit 4
10-12th grade average: 88, 12th grade average: 93
Canadian citizen, born in Quebec but raised in USA

Situation B: where I want to get :)
SATII: 730-650-700, Biology SATII: 730, USHistory SATII: 730, WorldHistory SATII: 730
AP scores: Euro 5, Art History 5, Biology 4, English Lang 4, English Lit 4
10-12th grade average: 88, 12th grade average: 93
Canadian citizen, born in Quebec but raised in USA

What letter grade/range would best correspond to a 88% average where you go to school?

B+. There was quite a bit of grade deflation at the school I attended for 7-11

I also have another question: I see McGill is marked as not using score choice on the Collegeboard website for the SATI, but McGill’s website seems to suggest they ONLY want 2 subject scores…so does that mean I"m required to send ALL SATIs but choose just my two best SATIIs? Or the ones relevant to my intended major?

Just to add, my senior year GPA (weighted) was 4.4 since I had A-/A in 3 AP classes. Will McGill recognize that upward trend (B+ average 10th and 11th and then A in 12th)?

McGill Arts can become a safety if you actually get 650+ on each SAT subscore…

Sweet! btw I misread my SAT score report from a while ago…I have a 720-640!!-700, so I’m not that far off. Still a little worried about those grades (pre-cal was utter crap) but I should still have a B+ average with my senior year GPA and more honors/AP classes  and I’m confident I can pull my SAT up to 720-660-720 at least.

Good to know I’m not a lost cause

OK finally got a hold of my 10th and 11th grade transcripts…my grades are decent except for a C in pre-cal…don’t know if that totally means I’m out of science. My grades are noted differently for 10th/11th vs 12th because I switched schools.

10th: 4.02
English 10: 92
French 4: 96
Geo/Trig: 91
Chem: 91
US/Euro History Honors: 91

11th: 3.42
English 11: 92
AP French: 87
Pre-Cal: 73 NOOOOOOOOOOOO
AP Bio: 84
US/Euro History II: 90

12th: (3.8 unweighted) 4.4
AP English Lit: A-
AP Euro: A
Theology: A
Physiology: B
AP Art History: A

If I were to prove my math competency with scores above a, say, 680 on Math II subject test and the SATI, do I still have a shot at Faculty of Sciences?

If that pre-calc and geo/trig turn out to be averaged to a B+, given a 680 in both Math II and SATI math, then you have a good shot at Faculty of Sciences (provided you want to major in a physical science, math or computer science)…
