My D attended in 2017. It was fantastic. There is an academic course in the mornings, then afternoons and weekends the kids participate in structured activities in and around Montreal, with current McGill students as their guides. They do not receive college credit for the course—it is just for fun.
Last year the program and waitlist were full within 24 hours after registration opened! This year they have added a second session.
My S is attending McGill Summer Academy this summer. Does anyone know if they help with their McGill application during their time at the academy?
@Almost@2 McGill admits strictly by stats. Attending the Summer Academy will not increase chances of admission. However spending a few weeks at McGill and Montreal will give your student a feel for this unique city as a place to live in for four years. It is an amazing environment but it is not for everyone.
McGill publishes minimum requirements by program and place of origin,
