Any input AT ALL would be greatly appreciated

Throughout the past few years at my high school, the lowest GPA admitted into McGill was a 4.1 (weighted/I have no idea what my unweighted is because our school is weird like that) and the lowest ACT score was a 25 (yes I know, it’s low, VERY low for McGill). Our average for those accepted was an ACT of 29, which I am a little below, so I think I might have a chance. I really really want to go; I am super french, and I want to be in that Montreal environment :)

To me I’d say it depends on your senior grades. Your GPA looks good (but it’s weighted, so we don’t really know if it’s out of 4,5 or 5,0) but your ACT is rather low. With that said they wouldn’t throw out your application from the get go, so you need to have had a strong senior year to impress them enough.

You noted in your list of stats “AP Calculus, AP Biology, and AP US History/all Honors”

Does Mc.gill look at this?

Do they look to see the exact AP exam score of those classes, or do they just want to see that you took them for a challenging curriculum.

Will it look bad if you had not so great AP scores or do they not look at that? Maybe they will question not sending in the score but having the class on your transcript?
Your thoughts?

McGill does look at your courses (i.e. how many APs you have taken) to look for a challenging curriculum. Unfortunately, I believe they also look at how well you scored on the AP tests more. McGill really does focus on your numbers. However, some bad AP tests won’t prevent you from getting in as long as you are strong in your other important areas.
