<p>For a linguistics and economics double major. Which is the best?</p>
<p>don’t know to clearly since I was from BC, but on the surface it looks like McGill</p>
<p>Watch out because at McGill the regular Arts multi-track (double major) system means 36 credits of each major, which will not give you a super in-depth knowledge of either field and may cause issues for grad school.</p>
<p>Additionally, the non-honors economics program at McGill is not particularly good. (This is coming from the dept.'s own profs who said students are better off majoring in math than econ if they hope to end up in economics graduate school). The Honors one however requires separate Honors classes, more classes, and is generally quite difficult. So weigh that carefully if you end up choosing McGill.</p>
