Has anyone prepared for the sat I with the mcgraw hill book and if so, how well did you improve? Im having a hard time finding a COMPREHENSIVE study aid for the SAT I (shooting for 2300 range) in addition to simply taking practice tests. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance!

Bump this post up...I was gonna start a thread about this book because I have it, and I need to get my SAT on the road.

These are two posts I've made about McGraw-Hill:

I went from a 1970 (CR: 680; M: 610; WR: 680) to a 2150 (CR: 720; M: 700; WR: 730).

In retrospect, I would have modified my study plan to add in full blue book tests, and then going over each question afterwards and filling in any blanks. I retook the test in December, and my score should go up (at least in writing), but overall probably not too much, as I started late in studying again.

Also, a tip I read on CC that helped me out: If you're timing yourself, subtract 5 minutes from your total time for each section. Work against that time. After that time runs out, use the 5 minutes for blank questions and checking your work.
